Registration is a simple process. Whether for a class, an ORT, a trial, or other special events, you can find it here.


Our Summer 2019 term of classes is scheduled to begin the week of June 3, 2019.  Information concerning this session can be found on our Summer 2019 class flyer.  It is is ready for download.  More information will be available soon.


Our next ORT is scheduled to be held Fall 2019. All three odors will be tested.  If you have additional questions, please contact us.


We currently have three weekends of NACSW sanctioned trials scheduled for 2019. The trials are expected to be in April, June, and August 2019. More information will be available soon.

Our April 6 - 7, 2019 trial will be held at Meridian Middle School, Lynden, WA. The premium will be available soon. Registration will open on January 28, 2019 at 9:00 AM (PST). The links for registration will be found below.

Our June 29 - 30, 2019 trial will be Summit League. The two days will be held at Mount Baker Junior and Senior High School in Deming, WA. The premium is now available. The registration for this trial will open on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 9:00 AM (PDT). The link for the trial can be found below:

Our August 10 - 11, 2019 trials will be an NW3 and Elite. These trials will be held at Meridian High School in Bellingham, WA. The registration for this trial will open on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 9:00 AM (PDT). The premium is now available.

Volunteers are the only way that a Nose Work trial can succeed. We will hope that you will join us as a volunteer in our upcoming trials.  When accessing the sign-up system (the link below), you will need an Access Code to enter. This access code is: K9NW. Registration for volunteers for our JUNE 2018 Summit trial is now open.

We will have our next K9 ABC Games™ will be on May 26, 2019.  If you are interested in more information about the Games, please visit our website. We hope you can join us for one of our games.


On July 1, 2019, we will have the pleasure of a workshop with Jean Richardson. This workshop will be a must for anyone currently competing and/or wanting to compete. During this incredible workshop. Jean will focus on “Building Skills for Successful K9 Nose Work Competitions”. Working spots will be limited to 8 teams. Audit spots will be limited to 20. The registration flyer is now available.

On August 12, 2019, we are pleased to have Kimberly Buchanan join us. Kim is one of the core instructors of NACSW. This registration and details for this workshop will be available soon.

Christina Bunn returned to Bellingham for one day workshop. It was held on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Please contact us for further information.

We are so pleased to have had both Steve Austin and Vicki Austin here from Sydney Australia. We strengthened our skills in Scent Detection, learned more about applications for scent work in environmental and ecological situations, and build our general training skills.

Ron Gaunt, co-founder of K9 Nose Work® has been in the Bellingham, WA area on February 17 - 19, 2017. These three days of workshops provided an opportunity to work wth one of the most outstanding professionals in the field of scent work. We hope to have Ron return early in 2018.

Christina Bunn returned to Bellingham for two days of workshops. They were held on March 17 - 18, 2017. Check back in the latter part of 2018 for another opportunity to learn from Christina. Please contact us for further information.

Jean Richardson is a CNWI, NACSW Certifying Official, and NACSW National Trial Approval Coordinator. She presented a workshop on Monday, August 20, 2018. The workshop was open to anyone competing in Nose Work or interested in competing. Working spots were available for teams that are currently competing. The workshop focused on Trial Handling Skills and Problem Solving in a Competitive Environment.  Please contact us for further information.
