class registration

Our Winter 2020 term of classes is scheduled to begin the week of January 6, 2020. Information concerning this session can be found on our Winter Term 2020 class flyer. It is is ready for download.

ORT registration

Our next ORT is scheduled to be held February 23, 2020. All three odors will be tested. The premium is now available. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

nw trials registrations

We are scheduling four NACSW trials in 2020. The first trials will be February 15 - 16, 2020, the next will be held April 11 - 12, 2020, the third will be the end of June 2020, and the fourth is planned for August 2020.

Our February 15 - 16, 2020 trials will be held at Elger Bay Elementary School in Camano Island, WA. The premium is now available. Registration for the NW3 and NW2 trials will open on December 9, 2019.

Our April 11 - 12, 2020 trials will be an NW3 and NW1. The two days of trials will be held at Kendall Elementary School in Maple Falls, WA. Registration for this trial opened February 10, 2020. The premium is now available.

We are planning two additional trials in 2020. One to be held in June and the other in August 2020. The levels and dates for each are still to be determined. Check back later for more information.

Volunteers are the only way that a Nose Work trial can succeed. We will hope that you will join us as a volunteer in our upcoming trials. When accessing the sign-up system (the link below), you will need an Access Code to enter. This access code is: K9NW.

k9 abc games™

We will have our next K9 ABC Games™ will be on November 24, 2019. If you are interested in more information about the Games, please visit our website. We hope you can join us for one of our games.

upcoming workshops

On November 23, 2019, we will again have the pleasure of a workshop with Christina Bunn. This workshop will be held in conjunction with our K9 ABC Games™ the following day. Registration priority for the workshop will be give to those attending both days. There will be 10 working spaces available. Please contact us for more information.

past workshops

On August 12, 2019, we are pleased to have Kimberly Buchanan join us. Kim is one of the core instructors of NACSW.

On July 1, 2019, we had the pleasure of a workshop with Jean Richardson. This workshop was be a must for anyone currently competing and/or wanting to compete. During this incredible workshop. Jean will focus on "Building Skills for Successful K9 Nose Work® Competitions".

Christina Bunn returned to Bellingham for one day workshop. It was held on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

We are so pleased to have had both Steve Austin and Vicki Austin here from Sydney Australia. We strengthened our skills in Scent Detection, learned more about applications for scent work in environmental and ecological situations, and furthered our general training skills.

Ron Gaunt, co-founder of K9 Nose Work® visited the Bellingham, WA area on February 17 - 19, 2017. Those three days of workshops provided an opportunity to work wth one of the most outstanding professionals in the field of scent work.

Christina Bunn returned to Bellingham for two days of workshops. They were held on March 17 - 18, 2017.

Jean Richardson is a CNWI, NACSW Certifying Official, and NACSW National Trial Approval Coordinator. She presented a workshop on Monday, August 20, 2018. The workshop was open to anyone competing in Nose Work or interested in competing. Working spots were available for teams that are currently competing. The workshop focused on Trial Handling Skills and Problem Solving in a Competitive Environment. Feel free to contact us for further information.
